The Scotsman is introduced to Jack udner very a very rickety circumstance. Or more precicely "on" a very rickety
bridge. Not only the fact that this particular bridge stretches over a ravine several miles long had already put both Jack
and the Scotsman in very vulnerable positions, when they are stuck face to face traveling the opposite direction of one another
allows their patience to dwindle.
The Scotsman likes to tell it like it is. Or rather insult every inch of Jack that he can, testing the samurai's nerves.
